We built this site to be a quiet, gentle place: calm and welcoming for guests of every age, an unhurried little corner to wander, play, and simply be. Part of that is not collecting information about the people who visit. Here is the honest, complete picture.
Almost nothing. There are no accounts, no logins, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and no profiles. You can explore the whole site without telling us anything about yourself, whatever your age. The drawing and playbook activities save nothing and send nothing.
The only information that touches us at all:
• Your own preferences, kept by your browser. If you mute the music or sound effects, or once you have seen our welcome tour or the newest transmission, your browser remembers that choice for your next visit on the same device, in its localStorage (which is not a cookie). It stays on your device, you can clear it any time from your browser's settings, and it is never sent to us.
• If you make a donation. Donations are handled entirely by Stripe, on their own page. Stripe collects your email and card details; through Stripe we can see your email, the amount, and your card's brand and last four digits, never your full card number. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that page.
• If you email us. When you write to us, we keep your message and email address in our inbox so we can read it and reply. We do not add you to any list. If several people ask the same thing, we may answer it once for everyone as an open letter, with no names or details that could show who asked.
We do not use cookies. (The browser preference above lives in your browser's localStorage, which is not a cookie and is not sent anywhere.)
The little we hold is kept to a minimum. The site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection, and all payment details are handled by Stripe, never stored by us.
A few trusted services work behind the scenes. They process basic technical data, like your IP address and request details, only to deliver the site and keep it running smoothly. This is standard for every website, and we do not use any of it to track or identify you:
• Vercel hosts the site.
• Cloudflare helps deliver it.
• Stripe processes any donations.
Each has its own privacy policy that governs the data it handles, as does the cloud infrastructure they run on.
When you follow a link to another site, such as a helpline or Stripe, we show you a notice first, and we ask your browser not to tell that site which page you came from.
Since we hold so little, there is not much to manage. But if you ever want to know what we have, or ask us to delete it, just write to us and we will take care of it. A message you sent us we can delete outright. For a donation, we can have Stripe remove your personal details from the record, though Stripe keeps the payment itself for as long as the law requires.
If any of this ever changes, we will update this page to reflect it honestly. Last reviewed: September 2026. Questions? Always: [email protected].
